I started by tracing the outline of all the sections with a fine tipped fineliner. Next I gradually worked my way around the design doodling different patterns so there was an even mix of dark patterns and lighter areas. Just a simple black mount was all that was needed and it was mounted onto a 5x7" card.
Simple... but oh so effective!
